IMPORTANT SAFETY AND LEGAL NOTICE: Location? is an informational convenience tool only. It is not emergency equipment, a life-safety system, a dispatch or computer-aided dispatch system, a navigation system, a rescue device, a panic alarm, a tactical system, a medical device, personal protective equipment, or a substitute for official maps, radio communications, agency procedures, professional training, supervision, situational awareness, or independent verification. Location information can be wrong, delayed, incomplete, stale, unavailable, or misleading. Never rely on the Application as your only source of location or safety information.

Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Definitions

“Application” means the Location? mobile application, any Apple Watch application, complications, widgets, Live Activities, downloadable intersection or geographic databases, websites, content, documentation, interfaces, updates, upgrades, support services, and any present or future related feature or service provided by Arttica Inc.

“Arttica,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Arttica Inc. and, where applicable, its owners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, developers, designers, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns.

“Location Information” includes any displayed or processed address, cross street, intersection, latitude, longitude, coordinate, compass heading, direction of travel, speed, altitude, accuracy estimate, GPS status, signal indicator, elapsed update time, route, map, or related information.

“User,” “you,” or “your” means any person or entity that downloads, installs, accesses, purchases, subscribes to, or uses the Application.

“Premium Features” means functionality made available through an auto-renewable subscription or a non-consumable Lifetime Purchase.

2. Acceptance; Electronic Agreement; Eligibility

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy below and any disclosures presented during purchase, form a legally binding agreement between you and Arttica. By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

You represent that you have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Application for an employer, agency, department, business, or other organization, you remain personally bound by these Terms and represent that you have authority to use the Application in that context. The Application does not create any contract, agency relationship, duty, or special relationship between Arttica and your employer, agency, department, or emergency-service organization.

3. Description and Intended Use

The Application is intended to receive, organize, format, and display Location Information supplied or derived through your device, operating system, sensors, Apple frameworks, mapping or geocoding services, downloaded databases, networks, and other third-party systems. The Application does not independently operate GPS satellites, certify your physical location, validate maps or addresses, control device sensors, or guarantee that displayed information corresponds to your actual position or direction.

The Application is an optional informational aid. It does not direct your conduct and does not replace official instructions, dispatch information, maps, navigation tools, radio procedures, agency rules, applicable law, professional training, supervision, or your own judgment.

4. Safety Warning; Knowing and Voluntary Assumption of Risk

BY USING THE APPLICATION, YOU KNOWINGLY, FREELY, VOLUNTARILY, AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS CONNECTED WITH ITS USE, MISUSE, FAILURE, UNAVAILABILITY, OR ANY RELIANCE UPON INFORMATION IT DISPLAYS.

Those risks include foreseeable and unforeseeable risks of inaccurate or delayed location information, incorrect addresses or intersections, wrong compass headings, incorrect coordinates, loss of communications, delayed or misdirected assistance, operational mistakes, navigation errors, device failure, software defects, battery depletion, distraction, physical hazards, property damage, economic loss, disciplinary consequences, personal injury, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether, when, where, and how to use the Application and for every action or omission taken after viewing, communicating, or relying upon any Application information. You must independently verify all critical information before acting upon it.

5. Accuracy, Timeliness, and Technical Limitations

Location Information may be approximate, delayed, stale, incomplete, offset, reversed, unavailable, incorrectly formatted, or otherwise inaccurate. Causes may include, without limitation:

  • limited satellite visibility; urban canyons; multipath reflection; tunnels; subways; basements; elevators; bridges; vehicles; buildings; terrain; weather; atmospheric or solar conditions;
  • GPS, GNSS, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, network, carrier, internet, server, geocoding, map, satellite, or database outages or errors;
  • incorrect or outdated road, address, intersection, municipal, state, mapping, or downloadable database information;
  • uncalibrated or disturbed compass, magnetometer, motion, speed, direction, or altitude sensors;
  • device age, damage, overheating, low battery, Low Power Mode, permissions, privacy settings, Background App Refresh restrictions, operating-system limits, memory pressure, or hardware malfunction;
  • Apple Watch connectivity, wrist state, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, complication refresh budgets, Live Activity refresh limits, widget timelines, or synchronization delay;
  • software bugs, updates, incompatibilities, user error, third-party changes, or events outside Arttica’s control.

An accuracy estimate is itself only an estimate and does not certify that the location is correct. A strong GPS indicator does not guarantee an accurate address, intersection, heading, or coordinate. A recent update timestamp does not guarantee that the displayed information is correct.

6. Emergency, First Responder, and Other High-Risk Use

The Application may be used by law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, military personnel, security personnel, corrections personnel, search-and-rescue teams, healthcare workers, outdoor users, drivers, boaters, pilots, construction workers, industrial workers, or others in dangerous environments. Such use does not make the Application emergency equipment and does not create any heightened duty of care by Arttica.

The Application is not certified, tested, warranted, or intended as a sole or primary tool for officer safety, emergency response, rescue, navigation, dispatch, tactical decisions, medical care, aviation, boating, military operations, hazardous workplaces, or any activity where failure could cause injury, death, or property damage.

You must follow applicable laws, department and agency procedures, orders, training, dispatch instructions, radio protocols, safety rules, and professional standards. The Application does not authorize or excuse any violation of those requirements.

7. Communication, Copying, Broadcasting, and Sharing

If you copy, speak, broadcast, radio, message, email, transmit, export, screenshot, or otherwise share Location Information, you are solely responsible for verifying it, selecting the recipient, communicating it accurately, protecting confidential information, and complying with law and policy. Arttica does not guarantee that any recipient, dispatcher, agency, emergency service, CAD system, messaging service, or third party will receive, display, understand, use, or act upon the information.

Arttica is not responsible for delayed backup, failed backup, misdirected personnel, incorrect dispatch, missed response, delayed response, disclosure of sensitive information, or any other consequence of information communicated from or with the assistance of the Application.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arttica disclaims every express, implied, statutory, and other warranty, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, quiet enjoyment, compatibility, security, uninterrupted operation, emergency suitability, professional suitability, and results. No oral or written statement creates a warranty unless expressly included in these Terms.

9. Release and Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU RELEASE ARTTICA FROM, AND ARTTICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, DELAY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR OTHER HARM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APPLICATION.

This exclusion applies to the Application’s installation, access, operation, use, misuse, inability to use, interruption, failure, defect, inaccuracy, or any reliance upon or communication of Location Information, regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, product liability, strict liability, warranty, statute, equity, or another theory, and even if Arttica was advised that harm was possible.

Excluded damages include direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, statutory, economic, non-economic, personal, bodily, fatal, emotional, professional, operational, disciplinary, administrative, employment, reputational, or property damages; delayed, failed, or incorrect emergency response; rescue or medical costs; attorney fees; lost income; lost data; lost opportunity; or third-party claims.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, Arttica’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Application shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Arttica through the App Store for the Application during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten U.S. dollars (US $10.00), unless applicable law requires a different amount.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arttica from all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use or misuse of the Application, your reliance upon or communication of Application information, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law or policy, or your infringement of another party’s rights.

11. Auto-Renewable Subscription and Lifetime Purchase

The Application may offer the following Premium Feature purchase options. The exact price and offer shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time of purchase controls and may vary by country, currency, tax, storefront, or later pricing changes.

Annual Subscription
30-day free trial for eligible users, then $9.99 USD per year. Auto-renewable.
Lifetime Purchase
$29.99 USD one-time, non-consumable purchase.

11.1 Free Trial

Eligible new subscribers may receive a 30-day free trial of the Annual Subscription. Eligibility is determined by Apple and may be limited to one introductory offer per subscription group or Apple Account. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the Annual Subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price disclosed in the purchase flow.

11.2 Automatic Renewal and Billing

The Annual Subscription automatically renews for successive one-year periods unless cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase or, for an eligible free trial, when the trial converts to a paid subscription. Apple may charge your account for renewal within the period disclosed by Apple before the current subscription term ends.

11.3 Cancellation and Management

You may manage or cancel the Annual Subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period unless Apple states otherwise. Deleting the Application does not cancel a subscription. You remain responsible for cancelling through Apple.

11.4 Lifetime Purchase

The Lifetime Purchase is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the Premium Features then offered to Lifetime Purchase holders. “Lifetime” means the commercial lifetime of the Application or relevant product offering as maintained and made available by Arttica—not your lifetime, the lifetime of your device, or a guarantee that the Application, any feature, or any online or third-party service will exist forever.

11.5 Same Access; Feature Changes

Unless otherwise disclosed in the Application, the Annual Subscription and Lifetime Purchase provide access to the same Premium Features. Arttica may add, remove, replace, redesign, rename, limit, or discontinue any feature, platform, database, or service. No purchase guarantees that every current feature will remain available indefinitely.

11.6 Restore Purchases

You may attempt to restore eligible purchases through the “Restore Purchase” or similarly labeled function while signed into the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoration depends on Apple’s records and services. Arttica cannot manually transfer App Store purchases between Apple Accounts or platforms.

11.7 Prices, Taxes, Promotions, and Changes

Prices may vary by region and may include or exclude taxes as determined by Apple. Arttica may change prices, trial duration, promotional offers, plan names, availability, or purchase structure. Apple will handle any notice or consent required for subscription price changes under applicable App Store rules.

11.8 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests and refund eligibility are administered by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Arttica does not control Apple’s refund decisions.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

Apple Standard End User License Agreement: Your download, installation, and use of Location? are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Arttica, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. To the extent any warranty cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by its rules; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the Application, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer-protection claims. If a third party claims the Application infringes intellectual property rights, Arttica—not Apple—will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim as required by these Terms and applicable law.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions against you. Your use of the Application must comply with applicable third-party terms, including Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

13. Limited License; Ownership; Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms and your valid App Store entitlement, Arttica grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Application on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.

The Application and all associated code, databases, intersection data arrangements, designs, interfaces, layouts, workflows, graphics, icons, branding, text, documentation, algorithms, compilations, trade dress, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Arttica and protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

You may not copy, clone, reproduce, scrape, crawl, frame, mirror, republish, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, extract, bulk-download, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, bypass protections, create derivative works, use automated extraction, train or evaluate an artificial-intelligence system using protected Application content, or commercially exploit the Application except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

14. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Application unlawfully; to harass, stalk, threaten, track, or harm another person; to violate privacy or confidentiality; to interfere with networks or devices; to introduce malicious code; to impersonate another person; to bypass payment or access controls; or to create a competing database, product, or service through extraction or copying.

15. Updates, Availability, Suspension, and Discontinuation

Arttica may release or withhold updates and may modify, suspend, restrict, remove, or discontinue the Application or any feature at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. Compatibility may change because of device, watchOS, iOS, App Store, mapping, API, or third-party changes. Arttica does not promise continued support for any particular device, operating-system version, feature, location, jurisdiction, or database.

Arttica shall not be liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government action, cyberattack, internet or carrier failure, satellite or mapping failure, power outage, platform outage, Apple service failure, or supplier failure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent a claim may proceed in court, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Arttica’s written consent; Arttica may assign them in connection with a reorganization, sale, merger, or transfer of the Application. These Terms are the entire agreement concerning the Application and supersede prior discussions or representations on the same subject.

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Arttica handles information in connection with Location?. It does not govern Apple, device operating systems, cellular carriers, mapping providers, analytics providers, email providers, or other third parties that process information under their own policies.

2. Location Information and Device Processing

The Application uses device and platform location services to display Location Information. Depending on the feature and your permissions, this may include precise or approximate location, address, nearby intersections, coordinates, compass heading, direction of travel, speed, altitude, estimated accuracy, GPS status, and update timing.

As presently designed, the Application is intended to process core location functionality primarily on your device. Arttica does not sell your precise location information. The Application may send requests to Apple or other mapping, geocoding, network, or platform services as necessary to provide features; those services may receive information under their own privacy practices.

3. Permissions

The Application may request location, precise location, motion, notification, Live Activity, Background App Refresh, Apple Watch, cellular, Wi-Fi, or other system permissions. You control permissions through device settings. Denying or limiting permission may prevent features from functioning or may reduce accuracy or update frequency.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

Preferences, downloaded state or intersection databases, purchase entitlements, cached data, settings, and any optional history or saved information may be stored locally. Local information may remain until you delete it, clear it, remove the Application, or reset the device. Device backups or Apple services may preserve some local data according to your settings and Apple’s policies.

5. Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, billing, payment credentials, eligibility, receipts, and refunds. Arttica may receive purchase-status or transaction information needed to unlock features, validate entitlements, prevent fraud, and provide support, but does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.

6. Support and Voluntary Communications

If you contact Arttica, we may receive your name, email address, message, attachments, screenshots, diagnostic details, and other information you choose to provide. We may use it to respond, troubleshoot, improve the Application, keep business records, enforce rights, and comply with law. Do not send sensitive operational, medical, criminal-justice, or personal information unless necessary and authorized.

7. Diagnostics, Analytics, and App Store Information

Depending on Application configuration and your Apple settings, Arttica or service providers may receive limited diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, device model, operating-system version, language, general usage events, acquisition information, and App Store analytics. This information may be aggregated or de-identified and used for maintenance, security, troubleshooting, product improvement, and business analysis.

8. How Information May Be Disclosed

Arttica may disclose information to service providers working on our behalf; to comply with law, court order, or lawful process; to protect users, Arttica, or others; to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of assets. Arttica does not sell precise location information.

9. User-Controlled Sharing

You control information you copy, share, radio, message, email, export, screenshot, or transmit. Once shared, the recipient or third-party service may store, use, or disclose it under its own practices. Arttica is not responsible for user-controlled disclosures.

10. Retention

Arttica retains information within its control only as long as reasonably necessary for support, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, enforcement, accounting, and legitimate business needs. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of information. Local device information remains subject to your device and backup settings.

11. Security

Arttica uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to information within its control. No device, application, database, network, storage method, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. You use and transmit information at your own risk.

12. Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and Arttica does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.

13. U.S. State and Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain personal data. You may submit a request using the contact information below. Arttica may need to verify your identity and may retain information necessary to document and comply with the request.

14. International Use

If you use the Application outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other places where privacy laws differ from those in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for determining whether use is permitted in your location.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Arttica may update this Privacy Policy. The revised version will display an updated effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
